Job Description

Position Summary:

As Meridian Bank’s Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our sales teams and promoting the Meridian brand in order to make Meridian a leading community bank in the nation.  Responsibilities will include managing projects, complying with operating policies and procedures established for this position, reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and responding to inquiries or requests for information.

 

Qualifications Required:
  • 2+ years corporate experience preferred
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Hubspot experience preferred but not required
  • Graphic design experience preferred but not required
  • Financial Services marketing experience preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Valid Driver’s License
Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Provide best-in-class marketing support to our sales teams
  • Provide special project support, develop marketing campaigns & support marketing initiatives as needed
  • Support Meridian’s digital ecosystem: social media, website, Hubspot, CRM, other programs in Meridian’s Marketing tech stack. Create content as needed
  • Work with compliance to ensure vendors, contracts and outgoing communications are compliant and within brand guidelines
  • Liaise with vendors and outsourced marketing support including ad agencies, media companies, designers, photographers & videographers, PR companies, etc.
  • Assist with community support and EITC requests
  • Provide marketing administration support including check and debit card payments, expenditures, accounts payable coordination, setting up meetings, taking notes, fielding marketing requests, onboarding/offboarding, other duties as assigned
  • Public relations and investor relations
  • Coordinate events from ideation, invitation and guest list to vendor coordination and venue selection, to post-event follow up
  • Manage marketing collateral including promo items, apparel, brochures, etc.
  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
  • Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research and seminars, share best practice and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team to support marketing goals

  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other employees within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information

  • Communicates with management and coworkers in order to integrate goals and activities
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.

  • Location: Various Meridian Bank locations as assigned including but not limited to the following job-related travel requirements:  Customer/Client locations, work events, charity events, loan closings and site visits, etc
