Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing various duties to support Meridian Equipment Finance; complying with operating policies and procedures established for this position.  Reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Qualifications Required:
  • Associate’s degree in Finance or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • 3 – 5 years of customer/contract administration experience or related field
  • Understanding of finance, preferably lease finance and experience in preparing and reviewing finance documents preferred, along with a strong accounting background.

 

Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Book and perform routine maintenance to all contracts tracked in the lease accounting system
  • Post and deposit daily cash receipts
  • Insure customer statements are prepared and delivered on a consistent basis
  • Manage all special vendor programs to insure prompt, accurate disbursement of funds as needed
  • Provide information to all third party support vendors in a timely, accurate and secure manner
  • Make collection calls to follow up on past due accounts, provide payoff quote information and customer support for all contract related inquiries, handle customer complaints and resolve customer grievances
  • Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed for peak hours.
