Job Description

Position Summary:

The position will assist in the development and delivery of our BI strategy, under the BI and Data Analytics Team. The BI Developer uses warehouse data to solve organizational problems through reports analysis and data visualization.  The BI Developer will work in support of all managers and users requiring data for decision support.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Dash board creation and publishing experience
  • Knowledge of banking systems and terminology
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels
  • Strong technical and computer skills including but not limited to: BI tooling (Cognos, Tableau), SQL
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask
Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Communicate with business users to determine specific business requirements for reports and business intelligence solutions
  • Design, build, and deploy business intelligence solutions by translating business needs into technical specifications
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve data quality and data reconciliation issues
  • Use warehouse data to generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring
  • Remove manual processes and data capture, and replace with robust automated business intelligence solutions
  • Assist with migration strategy and path to cloud
  • Participate in and support all planning and problem resolution
  • Assist in ensuring that the Warehouse data and the underlying processes to accumulate and process data meets SOX requirements
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, department leads, outside consultants and vendors
