Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting with the wealth management services for all clients and potential clients. This position is responsible in assisting in the development of financial strategies, investment allocation recommendations and implementation of financial plans.  Maintaining a close relationship with the Meridian Wealth Partner leadership team to ensure client expectations are properly meet and executed.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Ability to obtain Series 65 within 6 months
  • Ability to work in a team environment as a role player and leader
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Experience in using Tamarac and MoneyGuidePro is a plus.
  • Willingness to pursue a CFP and/or CFA designation is a plus
Essential functions and responsibilities:


  • Assists in managing essential client services, financial planning, and  investment management functions for clients
  • Acts as trusted partner to clients and prospects regarding all aspects of their complex financial preferences and overall wealth to deliver a comprehensive experience.
  • Assists in the coordination of clients regarding outside strategic relationships to handle all aspects of tax, estate, insurance and investment planning providing an integrated client experience.
  • Assists the client meeting preparation process using multiple systems to gather and compile relevant information to present a best-in-class deliverable.
  • Ensures compliance, quality of advice and excellent customer support
  • Maintains composure and confidentiality while exercising appropriate social acumen.
  • Develops a knowledge of the client’s entire financial and family situation and able to structure goals based on investment and financial plan
  • Creates an environment in which upward communication from employees is encouraged
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place
  • Communicates with management, other supervisors and employees in order to integrate goals and activities
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Meridian Wealth Partner’s compliance programs with all regulatory and state/ federal labor law requirements
  • Must obtain current certifications and licenses as deemed necessary
  • Valid driver’s license
