Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing various duties to support the Processing Department; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for this position.  Reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Qualifications Required:
  • High School diploma
  • Highly organized and proactive; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask
Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Assist in opening loan applications, ordering 3rd party documents and preparing file for the Processor
  • Reviews residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets company standards
  • Reviews all documents retrieved against those requested, and analyzes for accuracy and/ or errors
  • Completes verifications for credit items, which include, but are not limited to employment, asset information, rental history, credit reports, etc.
  • Reviews commitment letters and follow up with clients on any conditions required for approval
  • Follows up on all outstanding orders to third parties and borrowers within established company deadlines
  • Assists the Processor as needed
